While Covid threw a massive spanner in the works for many around the world, Ron Loiterton’s newest qualified Real Estate Agent Kate Collingridge has instead put 2020 to good use.
With most of her studies at Real Estate Institute NSW was completed via correspondence, Kate accomplished her traineeship on-time in March 2021, despite being provided an extension opportunity of an additional six months.
Prior to achieving her Real Estate License she attained a certificate of registration, which was at the beginning of her traineeship.
Kate described it as a great starting point, one that allowed her to gain a better understanding of the industry as she kicked start her career as an “assistant agent”.
Although the process was challenging at times for Kate balancing work, study and home life, she said it was rewarding in the end with becoming a fully qualified agent.
She added that she is extremely lucky today, to live and work locally at Ron Loiterton in Cootamundra.
“My life is very family oriented and I have quite a lot of family who live here in Cootamundra, as well as my partner’s family who are based mostly in Harden,” she said.
“These days a lot of people have to travel for employment opportunities so to be able to work for my local community, is great.
“I love to give back to the community and volunteer my time where I can.”
In town, Kate is involved with the local CanAssist fundraisers as well as the Cootamundra Show Society.
Outside of work as a real estate agent, she is a principal dance teacher at Christine Wishart Dance Studios, teaching in both Cootamundra and Young, being trained and qualified in a number of dance genres.
Kate has been dancing since the age of three and said it has always been a passion of hers and enjoys passing on her knowledge and experiences to students.
According to Kate, helping others call Cootamundra home is one of the best parts of her job.
“Getting to meet people, hearing their stories and helping find their home, is awesome,” she said.
“You learn so much about your clients and you create great lasting relationships. You get to be there for all parts of the journey.
‘Being involved in the exciting times in their lives like buying their first home, or when they have a growing family is the best feeling. I love that my job allows me to promote our beautiful town and what it has to offer.”
Kate would like to give thanks to Daryl, Dave, Di, Jo and the whole team at RLRE for getting her to where she is today and also a special thanks to her family and her biggest support Jordan.
Ron Loiterton’s agent Kate Collingridge is excited and enthusiastic to assist with any real estate needs, and is ready to put in the hard work for her clients.
