Farmer Wants a Wife Meets Cootamundra in New Season

Since moving back to his family farm in Cootamundra six years ago, Brad Jones has become a beloved member of the community.

Whether you know him due to his heavy involvement in the Cootamundra Tri-Colours Rugby Club, where he is both the Assistant Coach and Vice President, or for his farm work, both in Cootamundra and just outside of Binalong, chances are, you’ve come across Brad and his intoxicating smile.

Next Monday Brad will be known by a lot more than just the locals, with the season premiere of Farmer Wants a Wife airing at 7:00 pm on Channel 7.

He will be joined by well-known Harden man Matthew Young who lives in Bookham as one of five farmers.

Brad was given the opportunity to find love on national television, with two other farmers coming from NSW, and the other two coming from Queensland and Victoria respectively.

This year the show has marketed itself differently to previous years, already revealing that all five farmers have found love and leaving it to the viewer to try and figure out which lady the lucky men choose.

The Times had the opportunity to speak to Brad and get an insight into the process of joining the show and finding love through it.

It won’t be the last time the Times covers Brad about the show or the impending footy season.
