Outside of Cootamundra on Wednesday, November 13 at around 10:00am a truck rolled and the driver was trapped by his legs. Some livestock were lost in the accident.
Les Carr, Captain of Cootamundra Fire and Rescue spoke to the Coota Times about the incident.
“The truck rolled and the driver was trapped by his legs,” he said.
“The truck was transporting a load of sheep.
“Those in attendance were the Police, RFS, Ambulance, SES and Council.
“The road was closed for several hours to allow services to get the scene cleaned up.
“Gundagai Fire Brigade also attended, along with the Harden Rehab Van.
“The driver didn’t sustain any serious injuries.
Les said that drivers should drive to the conditions.
