The very successful 100 Year centenary held at the historic Muttama Hall in May, will now finalise its celebrations with the burying of a time capsule.
Preparations are underway on the site to bury a time capsule loaded with memorabilia from today and yesteryear.
The very active Muttama Hall Management Committee (MHMC) plan to mark the occasion with a sausage sizzle, commencing at 11.30 am on Sunday 29 June.
Residents across the region and in particular those with a connection to Muttama are invited to include items to be placed in the capsule. Items can be left at the administration offices of Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council in Cootamundra or Gundagai or contact Anne on 0417260300.
Items that can be included in the capsule are: family history, photos, letters to your future self, keepsakes from birthdays or special occasions, favourite toys or books, coins, bucket lists, footprints, fashion trends from magazines, popular music and so much more.
The anticipated opening of the time capsule will be 2055.
Everyone is invited to attend this historic occasion.
