The Cootamundra Ladies Probus Club held their final meeting at the end of last month. Because of the inability to get an executive committee it was a unanimous decision that we wind up the Club.
This decision was not taken lightly as the Club was founded in 1991 with a membership of about one hundred ladies. However, with membership reduced to just a few it was decided that it was too difficult to continue. The ladies voted to donate the remaining funds to Can Assist and Adina Care Nursing home.
To continue the friendship we have built over time it was decided to meet for coffee on the second Monday of every month.
