It was a miserable day on Sunday as Coota took on the Wagga Brothers, suffering an unfortunate 18 – 20 loss.
Two tries for Sam Bragg from Coota matched two tries from Brother’s Joey Charles, with an additional two for Brendan Kelleher and Joseva Tuinivanua, which meant the score came down to successful conversions, which pushed Brothers over the line.
This loss puts Coota in a tricky position going forward if they aim to capture the premiership.
But first, they look to Gundagai at ANZAC Park this Sunday, a tough battle that could mean life or death for the Bulldogs as the finish line quickly approaches.
