Former Cootamundra High student Meredith Howse has received national attention for her artwork, after it was featured on Channel Nine’s The Block.
Meredith was planning on shopping in her new hometown of Brisbane, Queensland when she received an unexpected call asking to urgently send two paintings to Melbourne for the show.
“They asked if the two paintings were available and framed. I told them yes, and they asked me if they could send the paintings off straight away,” she said.
“I had to make a mad dash home; I didn’t even leave the car to go into the shops. I got home, wrapped them up carefully and packaged them off to house one.”
