In 2021 Emma was awarded the NAWIC NSW Regional Business Woman of the Year; Emma stated “this award highlights the ability to operate on the centre stage from a small regional community.”

On Tuesday Emma was announced as a finalist in this year’s 2022 Australian Women in Industry Awards in two categories; Excellence in Construction and Social Lead of the Year, to be held on the 8th September in Sydney.

The Women in Industry Conference and Awards recognise the achievements of women working in the mining, engineering, transport, logistics, waste management, infrastructure, bulk solids handling and manufacturing industries.

Women in Industry Awards celebrate success of women from across industries.

They recognise women who are driving change in the industry and – in doing so – break down barriers and creating new possibilities for the next generation.

Emma stated it was an absolute honour to be recognised and it’s also a reflection of the entire team who stand with her sharing and working towards the same vision in the business.

“To be announced as a finalist is overwhelming and to be alongside on the awards night with the likes of Gina Rinehart, who is also a finalist at the awards in ‘Excellence in Mining’, has me speechless,” Emma said.

“It Proves that living Regionally is no barrier!”

Emma capped off a sensational week for herself personally when she was crowned the Outstanding Business Leader at the Cootamundra Business Awards last Friday night. For winning the Outstanding Business Leader category which is NSW-aligned, Emma will now be a finalist in the Riverina Business Awards later this year.

Emma has done some incredible work for Horizon United and our community and we are all very proud of her efforts.

Congratulations Emma!
