Maddie Douglas gets a pass away in Coota’s close loss to Temora.
Common sense will prevail, with Central West Rugby agreeing that Cootamundra should host the South West Cup Women’s Preliminary Final against the West Wyalong Weevils on Saturday.
Initially, Cootamundra and West Wyalong were meant to head to Blayney, who hosts Boorowa in the South West Cup Men’s Preliminary Final.

“It has been verbally agreed by the Central West (Rugby), and we’ll confirm ASAP that next Saturday, our girls will host West Wyalong in the Major Semi-Final to progress through to the Grand Final,” the statement read.
“With Blayney in the men hosting the Major-Semi, it has been agreed that our girls and West Wyalong shouldn’t have to travel to Blayney when they do not have a ladies’ side in the competition.
