Unvaccinated will have to wait longer to participate According to Government

Last night ticked off another Covid milestone, with just over 60 per cent of the population aged 16 and over now fully vaccinated.

As of Sunday, 60.1 per cent of the NSW population aged 16 and over had received both doses, while 85.5 per cent had received at least one dose.

Daily case numbers fell back in the triple-digits again on Sunday, with 961 new local infections reported.
Nine people died, eight of whom were unvaccinated.
One person had received one jab before they died.

As of yesterday there were 222 people in intensive care with Covid-19, six of whom were fully vaccinated.
787cases of Covid were reported across NSW overnight.
Those in the city will not be allowed to visit the regions until the State reaches 80 percent. All restrictions will be removed from NSW on December 1 according to Deputy Premier John Barilaro, which is the third stage of ending the lock down.
He said, “Let’s keep climbing with those vaccination rates because freedom day is not that far away.”

Reopening expected on Oct 11 after 70% target reached.

Deputy Premier John Barilaro said, “There has been a lot of speculation about what unvaccinated people can or cannot do and I can promise you this: that under the 70 per cent roadmap, unvaccinated people have very little changes to the freedoms they have today, so it really is a push incentive that getting vaccinated is the only way you are going to get to enjoy the freedoms as we get into spring.”
Mr Barilaro said once today’s announcement is made at 11am it will be clear to everyone that the only way to get any level of freedom in the state will be through vaccinations.
“Trust me, when we talk later today about what vaccinated and unvaccinated people can’t do, there is really going to be a stark difference.
