Charlie Baldry representing Baldrys Sons “Wallendbeen East” Wallendbeen has taken out first prize again in this years local wheat crop competition. The crop of Raider variety was estimated to yield 6.45 tonnes per hectare and was awarded 198 points.
Second place was awarded to Scott McLeod of “Thornleigh” Wallendbeen with a crop of “Condo” variety to yield 6. t/h, 197 points.
Third place Hardie Pastoral Co “Stirling” Wallendbeen with a crop of “Condo” to yield 6.2 t/h with 192 points.
The seed purity- Trevness to type award was won by Scott Mcleod.
Co-ordinator Ken Thorburn congratulated all who entered the competition and again thanked our judge Andrew Daly of Cootamundra.
