Salvation Army Christmas Toy Run This Saturday

This Saturday through Cootamundra will be the Salvation Christmas Toy Run beginning at 11:00 am sharp.

The event is hosted by the Cootamundra Antique Motor Club in conjunction with the Salvation Army. The event is open for all motorcyclists of any skill level, but veteran, vintage and classic cars are also eligible to participate. Club membership isn’t necessary.

Riders are asked to assemble at 10:30 am for the 11:00 am start so they can get going as soon as possible. Riders are asked to meet at the Family Hotel on Hovell Street, however, if you’re in a car you’re required to assemble at Hovell Street adjacent to Albert Park.

Cars will follow motorcycles for a run up Hovell Street, down Parker Street through town, left at Lawrence Street (at the south of town), and left at the end of Lawrence Street and back up to Albert Park (two laps/circuits).

The run will finish at Albert Park after the second lap using the Adams and Thompson streets for display.

Christmas gifts that are unwrapped for children under 15 must be left at the Sallies in Hovell Street before the event, or handed in on the morning of the run.

Rev your engines for a massive toy run this weekend.
