Our President Betty thanked all members for the role they played and the huge effort they put into making “The Afternoon with Flowers” an overwhelming success.
Evident on the day was the excellent standard of Floral Art entries.
A big ‘thank you’ must go to the people of Cootamundra and district who came along and supported Garden Clubs ‘new take’ on the Flower Show.
We are sure everyone enjoyed the delicious afternoon tea, and many were able to purchase one of Don Elliott’s potted flowering Chrysanthemums for Mother’s Day.
Thankyou Don for your huge effort.
Club members enthusiastically agreed to organise this same event at a future date.
Following much discussion, we were able to ‘iron out’ any perceived problems to make for an even smoother running of a future event.
With this in mind, some small changes are to be made to floral placement, judging and food service.
Club members are all looking forward to a warming Winter Luncheon and social afternoon on Saturday 18 June.
